Phones and PDA's 1 Comment »
I am not a huge fan of PDA's and cellphones. But this new Treo is pretty cool. When it comes down in price a little bit I will probably pick one up. Being able to ssh and irc anywhere from a little device with a full keyboard is cool.

    Hey Rasums,

    I just today received my Treo 600. Am charging it up right now prepatory to activating the phone service. I had no idea one could install ssh and irc clients. Thanks for the tip.

    I love my Treo 600 but after unsuccessfully trying to install a Sony PDA with the Palm desktop I can no longer hotsync the Treo or even access a Palm desktop. The message I get is: something about not finding the software to hotsync and something about not finding a certain Treo .dll(sorry can't find exact message). I have downloaded both Treo and Palm desktop software several times but nothing helps. Any ideas. TIA. John

    I just got my treo and I am trying to get a program that will let me "passively" manage my emails. I want to sync with my PC and let the PC get all the emails and I will download them once a day using the hotsync. Can this be done??
