It surprises me that many people think this USB-watch is useless. I bougth one for my education (I go to high school), and the times I've unexpectedly used the mass storage function is amazing.
I don't think your high school had many computers available back in the days, but here's how it works for me: I'm working on, say, an essay. School's about to close, so I need to leave. But I'm far from finished with my essay, so I need to continue at home (since tomorrow's my deadline). Now you'll think: "I always e-mail my documents to myself in those cases"... Well, me too, UNLESS ofcourse, some LOUSY systemadministrator didn't install a proper FIREWALL, we got HACKED, and internet-provider CUT US OFF. (why do these things only happen when tomorrow's my deadline?) And IF the internet works, MY GOD is it slow. (probably that same systemadministrator downloading porn on MY bandwidth). So there you are, just pop in my USB-watch (which I didn't accidently leave home since a watch is something you always carry with you), save my essay in no-time (hey, USB-2) and walk out laugthing at classmates waiting for some 2MB hotmail-account to upload their essay. I thought you might appreciate this fresh look at it. |
Why a toys page?I love geeky toys and people are always asking me about them. So this page is where I keep track of the gadgets that interest me.
